Justice Isikeli Mataitoga was sworn in as the new President of the Court of Appeal today at State House by President Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu.
Justice Mataitoga, who has been acting as President since 3 October of last year, brings a wealth of experience as a former Resident Judge of Appeal and seasoned diplomat.
His distinguished career includes serving as Fiji’s Ambassador to multiple countries and holding key roles in government, including Solicitor General and Director of Public Prosecutions.
He also teaches law at the University of Fiji.
