Motorists and public transport users along Kings Road in the Western Division are set to benefit from ongoing road improvement works under the Reseals and Renewals Programme.

A 255-metre section of Kings Road in Rakiraki has now been resealed as part of a wider 7.3-kilometre programme planned along the route.

The works are aimed at improving the condition of the road, making daily travel smoother and providing better access for commuters who rely on the route.

The renewal programme has also delivered a new bus shelter along Kings Road in Tavarau, Ba.

For passengers using public transport, the facility provides a safer and more comfortable place to wait for buses, supporting improved access and safer journeys for the local community.

The ongoing works form part of broader efforts to improve road conditions and transport infrastructure across the Western Division.
