In Fiji:
A man in his late 20s is expected to appear before the Lautoka Magistrates Court charged with the alleged murder of a 38-year-old man.
Police allege the accused seriously assaulted the victim during a drinking gathering in Wairabetia on the morning of 14 May 2026.
The suspect has since been charged with one count of murder.
Investigators are also continuing inquiries into the alleged involvement of three other individuals connected to the incident.
