The Marist Old Boys conducted a clothes drive last month and proceeds from the clothes drive were handed over to the staff at Saint Giles Hospital on Saturday as the date marked the one year anniversary of when they laid their colleague and friend, Michael Singh to rest.
Over the years, Mr Singh spent some time admitted at Saint Giles Hospital so the Marist Old Boys thought it fitting to assist others who are in a similar situation.
The Health and Medical Services Ministry of expresses its sincere gratitude to the Marist Old Boys for their generous initiative. They hope the effort will bring greater attention to the challenges faced by mental health patients at St Giles and inspire others to offer their support.
