Fiji Airports has completed a major runway pavement maintenance project at Nadi International Airport as part of its ongoing investment in critical airside infrastructure.
The project, which was finalised last week, involved rehabilitating sections of the runway affected by normal wear and tear to preserve pavement integrity and extend the operational life of the airport’s key asset.
The maintenance works were delivered in partnership with GHD and China Railway No. 5 Engineering Group (Fiji) Ltd, reinforcing Fiji Airports’ commitment to maintaining safe, efficient and reliable airport operations.
Fiji Airports said the proactive maintenance programme and responsible asset management approach will help ensure Nadi International Airport continues to serve as a safe and resilient gateway for travellers, airline partners and local communities.
