Naiviqiri village will now be connected to the world with the new installation of the Starlink community WiFi set up by Fiji Pine Ltd through the Landowners Community Development Fund. It marks a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to bridge the digital divide for remote communities.

The Buli Navakasiga, Ratu Kavaia Tuimuru has shared his thoughts on the groundbreaking project and his sincere heartfelt gratitude in for giving their community the means to have a connection to the wider world.

“This assistance is a game changer in empowering our people. By providing reliable internet access, we’re opening doors to education, healthcare, business opportunities, and so much more. It’s about leveling the playing field and ensuring that our communities are not left behind.” he said about the project. He also added on by saying,

Residents of Naiviqiri Village in the Navakasiga area of the Province of Bua will have unprecedented access to knowledge and worldwide opportunities because to this new digital link.
