Navua is counting on strong support from its fans and business community as it prepares for the upcoming BOG tournament.

Head coach Rodeck Singh says the team faces a challenging pool, but believes the backing of supporters could play an important role in their campaign.

“My expectation is, can we see some progress from the pool staging and make ourselves all the way to the finals. Again, we look at the pool, it’s not easy for us as well. But again, the expectation is the same when we do that, they’re not going to give it to us. We will have to take it.”

Singh is urging Navua fans to turn out in numbers and get behind the side as they look to build momentum through the pool stages.

“My message is, can you come out in numbers and support the team. I think the pool with Navua and Ba is not going to be that much. We ask you to come out in numbers, there is the fans to come and support the team, especially the business background of Navua. If we can get behind the team and support them in our preparations for the BOG.”
