In Fiji:
An officer linked to a serious assault case involving a child has been interdicted as criminal and internal investigations continue.
The child has been placed in the care of a relative after undergoing a medical examination.
Officials from the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Protection are assisting with the ongoing investigations.
