Police Blue have once again stamped its mark in the Fiji Bitter Wairiki 7s tournament in Taveuni.
The side won the Wairiki 7s title after 11 years, beating Sydney Tilivabukuya in the final.
Led by former National 7s rep Livai Ikanikoda, Police Blue put up an impressive performance and claimed a 12-nil victory in the end, walking away with the prize money of 12 thousand dollars.
According to Coach Sale Tubuna, teamwork and discipline were the keys to their success, ending an 11-year wait.
Tubuna also expressed gratitude to the organizers for organizing a well-run tournament, and aims to win more Fiji Bitter 7s Series events.
This was Police Blue’s third win in the Fiji Bitter Series.
