Senior police officers have completed the Superintendent Qualifying Course 01/26, with the programme ending in a formal graduation dinner attended by Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu.

The month-long course was developed to strengthen participants’ skills in strategic planning, leadership, budgeting and resource management, preparing them for greater command responsibilities within the Fiji Police Force.

The Fiji Police Force also acknowledged the support of the Fiji Police Academy Leadership and Management Team, New Zealand Police, the Australian Institute of Police Management (AIPM), the Australian Federal Police, the Fiji Corrections Service and the Maritime Essential Services Centre of the Republic of Fiji Navy.

As part of the training, participants visited partner agencies to gain a better understanding of their operations, highlighting the value of inter-agency cooperation, coordination and professional partnerships in supporting national security and public safety.

Inspector Senimili Moli, Training Officer with the Police Mobile Force, received the Course Dux award. Inspector Alumita Rokobiau, Station Officer at Nakasi Police Station, finished second, while Inspector Dinesh Chand, Western Divisional Administration Officer, secured third place.

Superintendent Josua Neilesu, Divisional Special Branch Officer West, was recognised with the Best Male Leadership Award, while Assistant Superintendent Bausema Lilinatabua, Officer in Charge of the Police Bands Unit, received the Best Female Leadership Award.
