Four people are in police custody following separate raids carried out by Nadi Police and the joint police-military taskforce in the Western Division.

A late-night operation in Solovi by Nadi Police resulted in the arrest of two men and the recovery of several items believed to be linked to illegal activities.

Police seized plastics containing white crystalline substances suspected to be drugs, along with ammunition.

One of the men arrested is known to Police for previous involvement in drug-related activities.

Meanwhile, the joint taskforce carried out an operation in Lautoka, where officers recovered plastics containing a white substance and green leaves believed to be marijuana.

A suspect was arrested and remains in custody as investigations continue.

Another joint operation in Legalega also resulted in further seizures.
