The leaders discussed opportunities to modernise Fiji’s public service and healthcare systems through the strategic use of technology, including e-health initiatives and improved digital infrastructure.

Prime Minister Rabuka acknowledged the gradual progress made in integrating technology into Fiji’s public service and emphasized the country’s interest in expanding this work through technical collaboration with TBI.

Sir Tony Blair welcomed the opportunity for engagement, reaffirming TBI’s commitment to helping countries like Fiji unlock the full potential of digital governance to improve public service delivery.

Beyond civil service reform, the conversation also touched on potential collaboration in key development sectors such as energy, tourism, and investment.
