New recycling drums have been installed at Ratu Sukuna Park as part of a partnership between the Pacific Recycling Foundation, the Suva City Council and the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation to promote proper waste disposal and recycling.

The recycling drums have been strategically placed throughout the park to improve public access while making the collection and transportation of recyclable materials more efficient.

The initiative aims to reduce the amount of recyclable waste ending up in landfills by encouraging the public to dispose of recyclable items correctly.

The Pacific Recycling Foundation is urging park users to make use of the recycling drums and contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable Fiji by ensuring recyclable materials are placed in the appropriate bins.
