Rewa Football team continues to demonstrate their prowess in the Digicel Premier League competition, securing their second consecutive victory.
Their recent triumph was a decisive 3-1 win against Nasinu, held at the Fiji FA Academy ground in Vatuwaqa yesterday.
The Delta Tigers exhibited their dominance over Nasinu, who suffered their fourth consecutive defeat in the competition.
Rewa’s performance has enabled them to narrow the gap between themselves and the league leaders, Nadi, to just three points.
The side now have seven points from three games, including two wins and a draw.
Meanwhile, Nasinu finds themselves at the bottom of the points table with zero points, highlighting their struggles in the competition thus far.
Although Rewa emerged victorious, their coach, Rodeck Singh, expressed dissatisfaction with their performance, believing that his team could have performed even better.
However, Singh commended the youthful Nasinu side for their resilience and commendable effort throughout the match.
