The Rewa Football Association has confirmed the signing of midfielder Merrill Nand following his move from Suva FC.
In a statement released by the club, Rewa acknowledged that Nand has been charged by Police and that the matter is currently before the Courts.
The Delta Tigers say they will not be making any further comments on the case, citing the ongoing legal proceedings.
The club also stressed that under the law, every individual is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a Court of law, adding that Nand is entitled to fairness, dignity, and due process.
Rewa FC reiterated its respect for the judicial process and called on supporters, members of the media, and the wider football community to refrain from speculation or the spread of unverified information while the matter is before the Courts.
The club thanked its fans and stakeholders for their understanding and continued support.
