Minister for Public Works Ro Filipe Tuisawau has confirmed to Fiji One News that Seru Soderberg is the new Water Authority of Fiji Chief Executive Officer.
Ro Filipe says he endorsed the recommendation by the WAF board, and he has confidence in Soderberg in taking WAF forward.
Soderberg was the Chief Operating Officer and has been the Acting CEO since March this year.
At the helm of operations, Soderberg led large-scale infrastructure development, asset optimisation, and service delivery enhancements, ensuring that Fiji’s water and wastewater systems remain resilient, efficient, and sustainable.
Ro Filipe says Soderberg will ensure the implementation of the Water Sector Strategy 2050 and the National Development Plan for the Water and Wastewater Industry.
