The Gasele Nursing Station in Kadavu is now powered by solar energy following the completion of a new installation by the Core Energy team earlier this month.
The upgrade provides the facility with a reliable electricity supply, improving vaccine storage capacity and supporting healthcare workers in delivering better medical services to the community.
The project marks another step in the Ministry’s efforts to improve access to reliable and equitable healthcare services for people living in rural and maritime areas.
The Ministry also acknowledged the contribution of Core Energy, its development partners and the Gasele community for helping deliver the project.
