The fourth state witness in the trial against nine individuals charged with the importation and possession of methamphetamine in Legalega, Nadi, told the court that Justin Ho, Lui Logaivau, and Aporosa Davelevu assisted with the transportation of the consignment.

The witness and Lui were employed at the Sub-Zero Carwash, which is owned by Justin Ho and located in Denarau.

He is an immunity witness in this case.

He told the court that Lui Logaivau had informed him the carwash was closed in December 2023 because all the water blasters were not working.

The witness added that Logaivau then told him to accompany him to David Marine Repair Shop, which is owned by David Heritage.

He confirmed that when they arrived, he saw large white plastic containers, and Logaivau instructed him to help move them into Heritage’s office.

The witness said that some of the containers had broken lids, and when he asked Logaivau what was inside, Logaivau told him it was methamphetamine.

He confirmed that they managed to move seven containers inside, while nine were left outside because there was no more space in the office.

The witness said that the next day, another truck arrived and loaded the nine containers left outside, then offloaded them at Justin Ho’s warehouse.

He confessed that Ho, Logaivau, and he all knew the containers held methamphetamine.

The witness then told the court that the drugs were stored there for three days before being loaded into a truck as they attempted to offload it at Motorex in Nadi.

He confirmed they were unable to offload the consignment at Motorex, so they returned to Justin’s warehouse.

He says Aporosa Davelevu, who is the fourth accused, then drove the truck back.

The witness said that was the last time he knew about or saw the consignment.

The case continues tomorrow.
