Global Care Suva FC is preparing for a high-stakes Extra Battle of the Giants 2026 semi-final against hosts Dayal’s Steel Ba FC at Govind Park this weekend.

Head coach Pita Rabo says his side has worked hard over the past seven weeks and must remain focused, disciplined and confident despite Ba’s strong home support.

For us this is quite a lot, it means a lot to us in terms of the way that we prepared this whole year especially coming up to the league and the Fiji FACT. We’re glad that everything has been working out for us. We have been preparing for the BOG for seven weeks and we have been introducing a lot of new things in the team and I think it’s working for us so far.”

Rabo is also calling on Suva supporters to turn up in numbers as the Capital City side looks to secure a place in the BOG final.

“For our fans out there, we’re just glad that we were able bring you this far. It will be a very important week for all of our Suva families but we would like you whatever you do if you can come down to Govind Park at the Four R Stadium in Ba so we can just go out there and show the crowd back in Ba what we are as a family in Suva.”
