A 17-year-old juvenile will appear before the Suva Magistrates Court today over an alleged break-in at a temple along Howell Road.
Samabula Police have charged the teenager with one count of sacrilege and one count of theft following investigations into the incident.
Police say more than $900, believed to have been taken from the temple, has since been recovered.
The accused is scheduled to appear in court today, Thursday, August 20, 2026.
