Young people in Navosa are gaining practical skills aimed at helping them create small business and income opportunities through a two-day tie-dye training programme.

The training is being conducted as part of the lead-up to the Navosa Youth and Sports Festival 2026, scheduled for August 13 and 14 at Vatureba Grounds.

Participants are learning hands-on tie-dye techniques, with the skills providing an avenue to create and potentially sell their own products.

The initiative is also designed to encourage creativity and entrepreneurship among rural youth while helping them develop skills that could support their livelihoods.

It forms part of efforts to increase economic participation among young people and strengthen their ability to become more self-reliant within their communities.
