Consistency was the key focus for Fiji Pearls Head Coach Michelle Parsons during the two-day International-Based Player Trials in Suva.
Parsons says she was pleased with the depth of talent and confidence displayed by the more than 50 trialists on court.
She admits selecting the final squad will be a difficult task, but believes the extended selection process will ensure a fair and transparent outcome before the Fiji Pearls shift their focus to the Netball World Cup, which begins on the 3rd of August.
“Consistency of performance is what we are looking for. Whatever the skills specificity for each of those positions and that’s what they’re measuring and I think today they did a really good job.”
