The Vodafone Fijiana XV has named a strong 32-member squad for its highly anticipated two-Test series against the Springbok Women, with the matches set to be played on home soil this month.
The series provides a major opportunity for Fiji’s national women’s rugby team to test themselves against one of the world’s leading teams while continuing preparations for future international campaigns.
Leading the forwards are experienced campaigners Tiana Robanakadavu, Adi Keri Lawavou, Karalaini Naisewa and Zipporah Sorokacika, while Jade Coates, Mereoni Nakesa and Alfreda Fisher add valuable depth and experience to the pack.
In the backs, the Fijiana XV will look to the likes of Kolora Lomani, Evivi Senikarivi, Varanaise Qoro and Ruth Raketekete to provide attacking spark, with Atelaite Buna, Aqela Raitubu and Litiana Vueti also included in the squad.
The two-Test series will kick off at Suva’s HFC Bank Stadium on August 8 before shifting to Churchill Park in Lautoka for the second and final match on August 15.
