The Water Authority of Fiji has advised customers across parts of Suva, Nasinu and surrounding areas to prepare for an overnight water disruption due to critical maintenance works.
The unplanned disruption began at 8pm yesterday and is expected to continue until 2am today (July 5), with repair works scheduled to be completed by 2:30am. Water supply will then be restored gradually.
Areas expected to be affected include:
Wainibuku Reservoir feed: Nakasi, Naulu, Koronivia, Lokia, Davuilevu, Dibulu and Lomanikoro Delta.
Nasinu Reservoir feed: Kinoya, Laucala Beach, Vatuwaqa, Cunningham Stage 1, Raiwaqa, Raiwai and Caubati (Wainivula Road).
Flagstaff Reservoir feed: Nasese, Ratu Sukuna Road, Domain and parts of the Suva Central Business District.
Tovata Reservoir feed: Tovata, Makoi, Tuirara, Cunningham, Upper Caubati, Valelevu, Khalsa Road, Sakoca and Tacirua Heights.
The Water Authority has apologised for the inconvenience and thanked customers for their patience while the maintenance works are completed.
