In Fiji:
A 21-year-old woman is receiving treatment at Lautoka Hospital after she was allegedly stabbed by her partner during an argument at a hotel on the morning of 24 June 2026.
Police say the incident involved the woman’s 23-year-old partner, who is alleged to have stabbed her following a dispute.
It is further alleged that the suspect attempted to take his own life after the incident. Security officers intervened and alerted Lautoka Police, who responded to the matter.
Investigations are continuing.
