A hundred and forty-three young individuals from seven schools and one youth club received Duke of Edinburgh International Awards for Bronze and Silver categories.
They were honoured by Youth and Sports Minister Jese Saukuru yesterday, 20 June.
The Minister praised their dedication and highlighted the programmes impact on community responsibility, skills development and physical fitness.
He inspired the youths with success stories of past participants and commended the programmes’s role in youth development, urging awardees to continue contributing positively to society.
The Minister also acknowledged the support of schools, stakeholders and various organisations in guiding the students.
