In Fiji:
A 24-year-old man in relation to the alleged murder of a 24-year-old man in 2022 has been charged by Totogo Police.
The accused is alleged to have in April 2022, seriously assaulted the 24-year-old victim with an iron rod outside a motel in Suva which resulted in the victim getting seriously injured.
The victim was rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital where he unfortunately died from the injuries he sustained during attack.
The accused has been charged with one count of murder and will be produced at the Suva Magistrates Court today, 6 May.
