The Fiji Revenue and Customs Service will recruit 100 staff after approval from the board.
CEO Mark Dixon made the announcement this morning at the launch of the FRCS 2023-2035 Compliance Improvement Strategy.
Dixon says recruitment with be conducted internally and former staff are encouraged to apply.
The 100 staff will be employed in the tax and customs space.
FRCS had 870 staff pre-COVID and the 100 new recruitment will bring the total number of employees to 670.
The recruitment process will be merit-based.
