In Fiji:
Belgium’s Non-Resident Ambassador to Fiji, Michel Goffin, yesterday presented his credentials to the President, His Excellency Ratu Wiliame Maivalili Katonivere. Ambassador Goffin is currently Ambassador-designate of Belgium to the Commonwealth of Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific.
Previously, Ambassador Goffin was Ambassador of Belgium to the Philippines, Palau, Micronesia, and the Marshall Islands.Prior to this posting, Ambassador Goffin was Director-General for Political Affairs at the Belgian Foreign Ministry in Brussels, dealing with EU and UN policies (2016-2017).
