The Fiji 7s team has been named for the upcoming Oceania 7s tournament in Brisbane.
It’s shaping up to be a strong squad, with Coach Ben Gollings selecting 15 players, including both experienced and new players.
Some of the key players to watch out for include Joseva Talacolo, Josua Vakurunabili, and Waisea Nacugu.
Kaminieli Rasaku is making a return to the 7s code after winning the 7s World Cup with Fiji in 2022 in Cape Town.
Gollings says playing in the Oceania 7s will be part of his preparation for the HSBC 7s series that commences in December 2023/2024.
Fiji mens 7s has been drawn in Pool A with Niue, New Zealand, Oceania and Australian 7s team.
The Oceania 7s tournament will take place from November 10 to 12 at Ballymore Stadium, and it’s sure to be an exciting event.
