In Fiji:
Police Officers in the Southern Division last night advised residents of Wailea Settlement to move to evacuation centers before high tide at midnight.
The continuous rain this week caused flash flooding around the Southern Division and Police were on standby throughout the night.
Marcellin Primary School and Marist Champagnat Institute in Vatuwaqa were opened as evacuation centers to accomodate families affected by flashfloods.
