The Housing Authority (HA) has announced the release of 34 residential lots and one commercial lot for purchase in the Mokosoi Estate, situated in the picturesque Pacific Harbour region. The development comprises 34 residential lots ranging from 385 sqm to 612 sqm, all on 99-year leases.
To qualify for a lot in Mokosoi, applicants must be first-time homeowners, Fijian citizens with an annual household income of $50,000 or less, capable of purchasing the land and constructing a house, and must be 18 years of age or older.
Interested parties can express their interest in the Mokosoi Lots by submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) and requisite documents through the Housing Authority of Fiji’s Online Portal at https://portal.housing.com.fj/. A user guide is provided on the website to assist with the application process.
To be considered for a lot in Mokosoi Subdivision, applicants must furnish the following documents for evaluation: HA Standard Statutory Declaration, Voter ID or a copy of the passport’s bio-data page, the latest stamped payslip, Notice of Assessment (if self-employed), birth certificate, and marriage certificate (if applicable), TIN letter or FRCS/FNPF joint card, and the latest FNPF statement.
To determine household income and facilitate the First Home Ownership Program Grant, applicants must provide details for all spouses (including unemployed spouses), partners in de-facto relationships (with a declaration), and proof of marital status changes (divorce certificate, death certificate).
Applications must be submitted by Sunday, March 31st, 2024, at midnight. Assistance is available at any Housing Authority branch in Valelevu, Lautoka, or Labasa.
