The Pacific Regional Hub launches #SwipeUp4Change, a transformative initiative empowering young influencers and climate advocates to drive collaborative climate action.
Focused on raising awareness of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), crucial for combating climate change, the campaign addresses the challenge of youth unawareness.

In response to the identified need, the initiative provides hands-on communication training to youth, equipping them with skills for effective climate advocacy on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter.

Iris Cordelia Rotzoll, the Project Manager, underscores the urgency of empowering youth as climate advocates.

Funded by the European Union, German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, New Zealand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the Regional Pacific NDC Hub aims to inspire grassroots movements and create a more sustainable future.

Leveraging digital platforms, the initiative seeks to make a tangible impact in the Pacific’s fight against climate change.
