The Lavidi Brothers 7’s team is leading the Fiji Bitter 7’s Series points table and is aware of the intensity of the competition at the 48th Fiji Bitter Marist 7’s tournament.
The Kadavu-based team hopes to qualify for the eliminations tomorrow, but to reach that level, they need to win two more games.
Lavidi Brothers hopes to walk away as the Fiji Bitter Sevens Series champions.
Captain Daniele Yaya said the players know what is expected of them, and they will need to go the extra mile to get that win.
After their loss to Dominion Brothers, Yaya said they can’t afford to lose another match and are working very hard to fix their mistakes.
He said that now, with the opportunity open for players to fight for a spot in the National squad, the boys believe they can perform if given the chance.
Meanwhile, the results for today’s matches have seen DXC Army Green defeat defending champions Police Blues 19-14.
All Blacks beat Fire 22 points to 10, while EMS Tabadamu beat Veilomani Bros 24-19.
