The Fiji Muslim League and the Malaysian High Commission joined hands to bring smiles to faces of the members of the Makoi Women’s Vocational Training Centre.
The partnership between the two organizations bore fruit as each member of the Vocational Center was presented with a $100 gift voucher.
Speaking at the event, Azam Mohd, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Fiji, expressed his delight at being part of such a meaningful collaboration.
He emphasized the importance of supporting economically challenged students, echoing the sentiments of unity and compassion shared by both parties.
Basheer Ahmed, the National President of the Fiji Muslim League, echoed these sentiments, highlighting the inclusivity of the initiative.
He stressed that the benefits extended not only to members of the Muslim community but to all individuals in need, embodying the spirit of community upliftment and solidarity.
This initiative reaffirmed the commitment of the Fiji Muslim League to serving the community and fostering collaboration with various stakeholders.
It symbolized a beacon of hope and opportunity for the women of Makoi, empowering them to pursue their dreams and aspirations.
