Often, it’s the simplest but most necessary things needed to attend classes and to do homework which are missing for Fijian children living in rural settlements. R.C. Manubhai in it’s bid to support our future leader’s donated school books, stationary and school bags to Korololo Students through it’s partnership with the Senivutu Youth Club located at Lakeba Village, Cakaudrove.
The fosterlings of our Corporate Social Responsibility is based on the etheos of ensuring support for the local community and with this initiative we have been able to equip close to 50 children by donating school supplies like books, pencils, water colors and everything you need for classes.
The joy the kids felt was written all over their faces.
They are looking forward to learning, doing homework, and painting with their classmates.
In Fiji, there are many children who are deprived of an opportunity to learn. On an individual basis, donations for these children can provide vastly improved learning capabilities, hope and a lifeline to a future out of poverty. On a larger scale, educating the next generation is a key force to human development and global stability.
