Last Saturday, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere attended the Pancake Breakfast fundraiser event as a patron of St. John and under the official capacity as the president of the Fiji Islands.
The fundraiser event was to raise funds for new ambulances for the brigade as well as other tools that will be necessary for their daily operations.
As Katonivere highlighted, being part of the fundraiser event means giving back to life itself.
“I know most of the families in Fiji are going through hardships, and whatever money is collected today will assist those unfortunate families.”
“I thank Mrs. Bovoro and all the volunteers for their hard work and everyone for their generosity.”
The event was attended by families and friends of those currently volunteering and staff of the St John association.
