EFL planned power shutdown

Energy Fiji Limited has announced a planned power shutdown for today, 25 November, to carry out urgent power line maintenance. The shutdown is scheduled as follows, weather permitting.

In Labasa, the power will be out from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, in areas such as Naduna, Nagigi No.11, Nagigi Primary School, Waigele Airport Road from Wailevu Village Junction to Wailevu Solove Junction. Wailevu Solove, Gopis Minimart, Diagnostic and Specialist Medical Wailevu Centre, Tee Mariners Shop and Smile Stores investment.

In Nasese areas such as Whole of Domain Road, Allardyce Road, Jackson Street, Mahatey Drive, Barton Place, Imthurn Road, Seymour Drive, O’ Brien Road,Pacific Islands, Development Forum, Walesi Head Office, South Point Lodge, Royal British Legion Community, Live and Learn Fiji and Berkley Crescent will be out from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

In Savusavu, the power will be cut from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, affecting Nacekoro, Tavulomo.

In Nadi, the shutdown will run from 9:00 AM to 4:30 . The whole of Nawaka, Nawaka Village, parts of Kerebula, Alla Dutta Road, Lolobalavu Reservoir, Taci, Vatutu Village, Togo Lavusa Road, Togo Bhartiya School and Naicaracara will also experience power outages.

EFL is advising all residents to treat power lines as live, as they may become electrified at any time.
