The Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC) has announced the appointment of General Manager Regulations, Pranil Singh, as the Acting Chief Executive Officer.
Singh will assume the role until the board finalizes and announces a new CEO.
In a statement, the FCCC Board expressed its gratitude to outgoing CEO Joel Abraham, acknowledging his leadership and contributions to strengthening consumer protection, market regulation, and promoting a fair and competitive business environment.
“We sincerely thank Abraham for his service and wish him the very best in his future endeavors,” the Board stated.
Despite the leadership transition, FCCC has reassured the public of its continued commitment to safeguarding consumer rights and ensuring a well-regulated marketplace.
