The Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) Women’s Rugby League Team has completed a clean sweep against the Australian Defence Force (ADF) Women in the inaugural Defence Pacific Cup, finishing their campaign with a 14–8 victory.

After a slow start, the Fijian side gradually built momentum and strengthened its attack to take control of the match. The ADF Women fought hard throughout, but the Pacifica team held on to secure the win.

The achievement reflects the work of the ADF coaching staff, who helped bring together players from the two Pacific defence forces and develop a strong team combination.

At the end of the tournament, the ADF Women thanked both defence forces for the competition, highlighting the sportsmanship and camaraderie shown throughout the series and expressing hope for future encounters.

Attention now turns to the men’s competition, with the RFMF Rugby League Team preparing for its final match against the ADF in Brisbane.
