Motorists travelling through Nasese will face changes to traffic movements from Friday, 30 October, as roadworks begin along a section of Ratu Sukuna Road.
The Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) says a partial closure will affect the stretch between the Queen Elizabeth Drive junction and Crawford Avenue for approximately three months.
The works form part of the Ratu Sukuna Road upgrading project and will involve road widening and the relocation of utility services.
The closure will remain in effect 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including outside normal working hours.
Motorists will be diverted through Crawford Street, Gardiner Road, Charlton Avenue and Storck Street while the work is underway.
FRA is urging road users to follow detour signs, obey traffic controllers and take extra care when approaching the work zone.
The authority has apologised for the inconvenience and thanked residents and motorists for their patience and cooperation during the upgrade.
