FMF Foods Limited has commissioned a biscuit line at its Walu Bay factory today, the 20th of
October 2022.

The company has invested a substantial amount of money into this project and
now has four biscuit factory lines or ovens to produce premium quality biscuits.

The new line was commissioned by co-founder of FMF Foods Limited Tara Punja.
Speaking on behalf of Mrs. Tara Punja, company managing director, Sanjay Punja reflected
on the humble beginnings of the Biscuit Company of Fiji to the major exporting giant it has
become with multiple awards under its fold.

“I am extremely delighted that we have grown the Biscuit Company of Fiji to cater for a growing
exports market and produce more than thousands of tonnes of biscuits per month”.
The new oven line is set up to make biscuits primarily for the exports market with specific focus
on private labelling. FMF’s export revenue is forecast to close at $150 million in the year ending
June 2023.

“We have seen a significant growth in the demand for biscuits and there are multiple market
opportunities presenting themselves. We found this to be an opportune time to invest and
compete in the global market”

Punja continued to say that FMF is thankful to the consumers for continuing to choose the
FMF brand of biscuits and other products as part of their daily lives, which gives the company
the focus to invest more.
