The Permanent Secretary for Women, Children and Social Protection Eseta Nadakuitavuki was briefed on current activities supported by Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and possible future collaborations with Fiji.
This was during the courtesy visit the Australian Acting Deputy High Commissioner, Andrew Shepherd, accompanied by Australian High Commission Advisor, Pranil Singh.
During the visit, Acting Deputy High Commissioner Shepherd also reaffirmed the Australian Government’s support towards the work administered by the ministry, particularly in areas of social protection as well as gender-related programs.
Permanent Secretary, Ms. Nadakuitavuki, in receiving the officials, acknowledged the work undertaken by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). She also expressed the Ministry’s appreciation of the consistent support received from the Australian Government towards ensuring that our women, children, and persons with disabilities continue to receive targeted support
