BSP Financial Group Limited (BSP) has announced it will soon be recruiting twenty (20)” Part-Time” tellers, in addition to the current full-time tellers to improve on the turnaround times in the telling queues across all the 16 branches.

This equates to an equivalent of an additional 10 Full Time Employees (FTEs). This initiative underpins the Bank’s focus on delivering a high standard of customer service at branches as it experiences a steady growth in all its business segments.

Country Head Mr Haroon Ali said, “The strategy to recruit more frontline staff will also support the growing number of Corporate clients that are now banking with BSP. The part-time tellers will allow branch managers to better manage our teller scheduling that should result in improved wait times”.

“This part-time employment opportunity would be ideal for those who prefer a lower number of working hours that allows them to fulfil additional obligations such as further studies or time to attend to other commitments, and for young graduates looking to enter the workforce”, said Mr. Ali.

“We have an ongoing awareness program that encourages our customers to use our wide range of modern and secure digital channels.  However, branches will continue to be a key pillar of our service delivery channels”, he added.

“This creates an opportunity for many more job seekers to join our dynamic team.  Much more than just qualifications, we are looking for candidates who have the passion and commitment to grow beyond this role including into other areas of the bank,” said Mr Ali.

BSP has the largest branch, rural and electronic banking network in the South Pacific with presence in Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Cook Islands, Tonga, Cambodia and Laos.
