In Fiji:
Commander of the French Armed Forces in New Caledonia, Brigadier General Yann Latil visited Blackrock Camp in an effort to strengthen military collaboration with the Republic of Fiji Military Forces.
During his visit, Brigadier General Latil toured facilities, met key military personnel and received briefings on current training operations.
The visit demonstrates the French military’s commitment to adopting a friendship amongst regional partners and also highlights the strategic importance of Blackrock Camp in the Pacific defence and security strategy.
