The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua have named their squad for the crucial Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific clash against the Hurricanes this Friday.

Head Coach Mick Byrne has made a few changes this week as the team seeks to be the first team to defeat the Hurricanes this season.

In the starting 15, powerful front rower Haereiti Hetet retains his place at loosehead prop with Tevita Ikanivere at hooker and captain of the side for this match. Veteran prop Mesake Doge remains at tighthead prop.

Lock Isoa Nasilasila returns after missing out on five games due to an injured ankle. His locking partner Leone Rotuisolia retains his spot in the middle row.

Simi Kuruvoli starts at halfback alongside Isikeli Rabitu who makes his first start at flyhalf for the Drua.

This is the third Super Rugby match for the former Suva Grammar School prodigy, after his initial appearances at fullback. Epeli Momo starts on the left wing this week with Selestino Ravutaumada on the right. Sharpshooter Kemu Valetini will start at inside centre, with Iosefo Masi outside him. Ilaisa Droasese completes the starting  at fullback.

On the bench, Byrne has named Zuriel Togiatama covering at hooker, with props Livai Natave and Samu Tawake as loosehead and tighthead props respectively.

An impactful middle and backrow pair of Mesake Vocevoce and Meli Derenalagi are expected to inject power late in the game. The replacement backline sees Peni Matawalu as back-up halfback, with young Michael Naitokani covering the centres. Junior Ratuva completes the matchday.

The Drua vs Hurricanes match will kick off at 7.05pm on Friday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
