Education Minister, Aseri Radrodro, wishes everyone in Fiji a blessed and prosperous Diwali.
Radrodro highlights that Diwali reflects the nation’s rich cultural heritage and unites diverse communities.
“Fiji is a nation where people of many different faiths coexist. Diwali is not only a festival in Fiji but it’s a reflection of our rich cultural heritage and age-old traditions.”
The festival brings families and friends together, creating excitement for both children and adults.
“This cherished celebration brings families, friends, and communities together, and it holds a special place in the hearts of many of us in Fiji and across the world.”
He stressed the importance of lighting diyas and promoting values of happiness and peace through education.
Mr Radrodro acknowledges the contributions of parents, teachers and stakeholders, urging everyone to embrace the deeper meaning of the festival as a time for sharing and togetherness.
He reaffirms that Diwali fills hearts with joy and encourages spreading love and compassion within communities.
