Preparations continue for Team Fiji Men’s Rugby 7s side in France as they count down to the starting of their competition at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Coach Osea Kolinisau said while training on the field was the focus, they have also emphasised on the teams’ mental and spiritual preparation.

Mr Kolinisau added that the team continues to develop their bond and are working really hard at all the training runs they’ve had.

He says the team to take the field for the first match against Uruguay will be named once they move to the Games village next week.

Fiji will face Uruguay on Thursday 25 July at 3am. 

They will then later take on United States of America at 6.30am before playing against hosts France at 1.30am on Friday 26 July.

All matches will be broadcast live and free on Fiji One.
