One of the leading insurer in the country, FijiCare Insurance Limited, is on board with Fiji Television Limited for the Rugby World Cup 2023.

Fiji Care Insurance became the fifth platinum sponsor for the live broadcast coverage on Fiji One.

Executive Director of FijiCare Insurance Limited, Avi Raju, says they are pleased to be part of the Rugby World Cup live coverage that gives all Fijians a chance to see our Flying Fijians in action.

According to Raju, as a Fijian company, they support other Fijian companies and it’s great that Fiji TV has been able to secure exclusive coverage of the Rugby World Cup and they hope to forge a relationship with Fiji TV where there is greater focus on TV content that promotes health, wellness, financials literacy and need for insurance protection.

Raju says that as the largest health insurer in the country, they support health and wellness, and obviously sports are a big part of it. He says there is a lot on offer for the fans, and if you are planning to travel to the Rugby World Cup or travel during the upcoming festive holiday season, FijiCare now provides comprehensive travel insurance.

Raju says if you buy motor insurance from FijiCare during the duration of the Rugby World Cup, they will be giving away a Flying Fijians jersey on each policy sold.

Meanwhile, the Acting General Manager of Fiji Television Limited, Poonam Nandani, immensely thanked FijiCare Insurance for coming on board.

Nandani says the Rugby World Cup is a major event that happens once every four years, and FijiCare’s partnership adds to this spirit, making the experience of our viewers more memorable.

The insurer company, which is also one of the sponsors of the Fijian Drua team, is eagerly waiting for the start of the global event and hopes that our Flying Fijian will excel in the tournament.

The Rugby World Cup will be the 10th men’s World Cup and the second to be hosted by France after a memorable event in 2007.

The Flying Fijians will open their RWC campaign against Wales on September 11.
