In a proactive move to strengthen workplace safety, the Ministry of Finance hosted a comprehensive three-day Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training session last week in Suva.
Held from April 23 to 25 at the Level 2 Conference Room, Ro Lalabalavu House, the in-house program was tailored for 20 newly appointed OHS Committee members.
Facilitated by experts from the University of the South Pacific, the workshop covered essential topics such as hazard identification, risk assessment, and preventive safety planning.
The training reflects the Ministry’s commitment to fostering a secure and compliant work environment for all staff.
